Haarlem Centraal Station — Art Nouveau Brick Facade
23 May 2025 · Haarlem
Haarlem Centraal stands as one of the Netherlands' most intact Art Nouveau railway stations, its twin brick towers and arched entrance hall holding their ground under a storm-charged sky. The facade works as a poster in itself — asymmetric turrets, terracotta roof tiles, and a monumental glazed arch all pulling in the same structural direction. Civic architecture built to announce arrival, doing exactly that a century later.
