Sint-Pietersberg's quarry terraces step down from cave-mouth openings in pale marl to a gravel path and fence line at the base, with bare winter scrub filling the margins. The light is low and sharp — a clear winter sky pulling long shadows across the stone ledges. ENCI-groeve is one of South Limburg's stranger landscapes: an industrial excavation that has been handed back to geology and slow rewilding, the rock strata reading like a cross-section left out in the open.
