ENCI-groeve in autumn stillness — the quarry pool at Sint-Pietersberg shifts from transparent teal at the shallows to a deep, opaque blue-black at its centre, the limestone walls curving around the water like a cut left in the hill. The gradient is the composition: clarity at the edge, depth in the middle, nothing in between to interrupt the transition. Industrial heritage and geological time, held in the same frame.
