The ENCI-groeve at Sint-Pietersberg holds two landscapes in one frame: the limestone terracing and containment pond carved out of the hillside, and the cement plant's chimney stack rising against a pale winter sky. What industry strips away, it also shapes — the quarry walls and flooded basin have their own austere geometry. Seen from above, the site reads less as ruin than as a record of what the hill was made of.
