The platform at ENCI-groeve cuts a clean horizontal line against the deep blue winter sky, its concrete slab projecting far beyond the hillside edge. A lone figure stands at the tip — small against the overhang, unmistakable against the sky. The structure earns its drama through geometry alone: the cantilever reaches out into space while the bare hillside and stripped winter trees hold their ground below. Architecture as a graphic gesture, landscape as its foil.
