Hopstraat compresses to a vanishing point between two brick facades, the pedestrian-zone sign marking the entrance with quiet Dutch civic authority. Shadow claims the foreground; a tree canopy opens the far end back to sky. The geometry does the work — brick, perspective and overcast light carry the frame decisively. This is Dutch urban space at its most legible: narrow, ordered, unhurried.
