Delft Canal Corridor with Summer Tree Canopy

A Delft gracht in spring, the canal running dead-centre between two rows of lime trees whose canopy nearly closes overhead. The still water holds the overcast sky cleanly — the same clouds above and below, the same green tunnel framing both. Bicycles line the right quay, a delivery van sits on the left, and a low bridge closes the perspective at the far end. The city goes about its business while the canal stays completely still.
