A narrow steeg in Delft pulls the eye straight to the vanishing point, brick facades rising on both sides in near-perfect symmetry. The cobblestones carry the shadow of cloud cover overhead; the sky opens just enough to let the buildings frame it. Delft's historic residential streets work like this — compressed, deliberate, every element pointing toward the same place. The geometry is the atmosphere.
