Delft Canal Corridor Under Dramatic Summer Sky

A Dutch gracht in Delft, shot from the bridge along the canal corridor where lily pads break up the water's surface into patches of reflection and stillness. The sky dominates — cloud-heavy, backlit, pressing down on the canal-side brick facades and the line of trees that flanks the right bank. The canal holds the sky exactly as the sky holds the canal: two versions of the same overcast light, one above and one below.
