Three cylindrical silos rise above a sprawling brick factory complex in Maastricht, their smooth steel forms pushed flat against a churning cumulus sky. The monochrome conversion strips the colour cast and leaves the tonal relationship between cloud and steel as the image's whole argument — dark mass below, active light above. Industrial architecture rendered as geometry: the silos hold their ground, and the sky presses back.
