Dutch Brick Facade Under Storm Sky, Breda
12 May 2026 · Breda
A historic Dutch institutional building in Breda, shot from a low corner angle that flattens the brick facade into pure geometry. Two rows of white sash windows — each capped with a semi-circular keystone — march across the dark masonry in strict formation. The cobblestone forecourt anchors the base while the storm sky presses down from above: weight meeting weight, the building unmoved. In monochrome, the brick texture and the churning cloud resolve into the same tonal register, making the architecture feel less like a structure and more like a condition.
