Holland Casino Breda — Converted Church, Dramatic Sky

A former ecclesiastical building in Breda, Noord-Brabant, now housing Holland Casino. The brick facade, gothic arch over the entrance, and copper-tipped church spire carry the full weight of the original convent's architecture — the Holland Casino signage at the forecourt is the only concession to the building's current life. Secular purpose, sacred structure: the geometry doesn't negotiate, it simply reassigns. A heavy overcast sky presses down on the roofline and makes the spire read harder against the clouds.
