Groot Seminarie Breda — Brick Facade Under Storm Sky

The Groot Seminarie's apse rises from a low angle, its arched window rhythm and corner buttressing compressed into a single frame. Red brick warms against a bruised storm sky; the verdigris lantern spire cuts straight through the clouds above. Dutch religious architecture this substantial doesn't need a clear day to make its argument — the overcast light sharpens the geometry rather than softening it.
