Deep purple lilac panicles shot from below, the clusters filling the foreground while bare branches from a taller tree spread across a pale blue spring sky above. The upward framing is deliberate — it turns the canopy into a lattice and gives the sky somewhere to breathe. The lilac holds its colour against the light; the branches hold their geometry against the softness of the clouds. Together they make something more structural than botanical.
