Cherry Blossom Avenue Along a Maastricht Cycle Path

A red fietspad cuts straight through a tunnel of white cherry blossom on the outskirts of Maastricht, the trees lining the path in full spring bloom under a clear blue sky. The motorway runs parallel at left — close enough to feel the scale, far enough not to intrude. Spring in the Netherlands does this: it turns infrastructure corridors into something worth stopping for, not just passing through.
