A medieval brick facade shot from directly below, the stepped gable climbing hard into a blue Dutch sky. The lancet window and its tracery fill the middle of the frame — five tall arched panels set into warm red-brown brick, the stone surrounds worn to a fine edge. Compression from the low angle pulls the gable's geometry tight, turning a familiar church wall into something closer to a graphic proposition. Gothic architecture this old rarely needs the sky to do anything — here the clear blue does exactly the right amount.
