Martinic AX73
6-voice analog polysynth modelled on Akai's 1986 AX73 — namesake of Martinic's catalogue.
The Akai AX73 was Akai's 1986 polysynth — six voices of analog VCO/VCF/VCA architecture in a smaller chassis than the contemporary AX80. The hardware flopped commercially against Roland and Korg's lineup of the same year and disappeared from production within a couple of years. Martinic's plugin reproduces the original's signal path and adds the programmability the hardware lacked — full patch storage, modern voice allocation, multitimbral operation.
