Red and Orange Curtain Wall Facade, Rotterdam High-Rise

Vertical bands of red, crimson, and orange run the full height of this Rotterdam residential tower, turning the curtain wall into a graphic field of colour and grid. At distance the pattern almost dissolves into abstraction; close up, the structural logic reasserts itself — each floor plate a horizontal rule cutting across the warm verticals. Contemporary Dutch architecture at its most unapologetically bold, set against a flat clear sky that lets the facade carry every gram of visual weight.
