A rural road through the Pijnacker polder leads toward a low sun sitting just above the treeline silhouette, its warm gold light raking across the tarmac and bridge railing. To the right, the moon hangs in the pale sky — still and unhurried, a quiet counterweight to the blaze on the other side of the frame. The road does the compositional work, pulling the eye straight into the light, while the two celestial bodies split the sky between them.
