Fallen Willow Arch on a Sint Pietersberg Nature Trail

A leaning willow trunk spans the dirt path near Sint Pietersberg, its bark-heavy arch framing the open meadow beyond. The trail disappears under it, pulled toward the bright field and the cloud-broken sky above South Limburg. It is a simple scene, but the frame does real compositional work — the fallen trunk draws the eye forward while the dense summer foliage holds the edges closed. The path earns its place by having somewhere to go.
