A leaning willow on Sint Pietersberg has grown so far sideways it forms a natural arch over the narrow dirt path beneath it — the trunk crossing low, the canopy closing overhead, the trail carrying on through dense summer green. The tree wasn't planted to frame anything; it just did. That's what makes it work: the composition is borrowed from the landscape rather than imposed on it.
