Dirt Footpath Through Sint Pietersberg Grassland

A narrow dirt path cuts through summer grassland at Sint Pietersberg, South Limburg, edged on the right by a dense stand of deciduous trees heavy with leaf. The sky does most of the work — cumulus towers building over the flat field, the clouds bigger than anything on the ground. The path leads the eye straight into that sky, grounding the dramatic in the ordinary.
