Sint Pietersberg opens wide here — rolling farmland dropping into the valley, vineyard rows climbing the opposite hillside in tight diagonal lines, and a white manor house sitting quietly at the treeline. The geometry is in the land itself, not imposed on it. Summer cumulus stacks high over South Limburg, and the whole scene holds the particular green that Dutch agricultural country turns in June — dense and various, field by field.
