Storm clouds build over the A2 near Maastricht, turning a summer afternoon into something heavier. The highway narrows to a vanishing point in the distance — not a road photo, but a weather photo that happens to have a road in it. Dark cloud mass presses low over the treeline on both sides; the sky occupies two-thirds of the frame and earns every bit of it.
