Tree-Lined Road Near Maastricht, Vanishing Point

A straight asphalt road cuts through dense summer canopy somewhere outside Maastricht, the trees closing in on both sides until the avenue disappears into the distance. Two street lamps — one left, one right — hold the bilateral symmetry the road already insists on. The geometry is exact: the kind of composition that's usually built, not grown. Overcast sky keeps the greens flat and saturated, all texture, no glare.
