Dutch Tricolour Against a Cloudy Sky, Gronsveld
6 June 2026 · Grondsveld
Shot from the pavement looking straight up, the Dutch flag fills the frame against a broken cloud sky — red, white, and blue pulled taut on a wall-mounted pole bracketed to dark brick. The low angle flattens the street lamp and roofline into supporting geometry, letting the flag's horizontal stripes read as hard graphic bands rather than soft fabric. It is an ordinary national symbol given an uncommon vantage point: the familiarity of the tricolour held against the structural weight of the building behind it.
