Shot from street level looking straight up, the red brick facade of this Den Haag office tower fills the frame from base to crown. The glazed corner spine runs the full height of the building, holding the diagonal convergence together where brick meets curtain wall. Tree canopy edges in from the right; a contrail cuts the blue summer sky above. Architecture as subject, geometry as structure — the building does the work.
