Low-angle upward view of a contemporary office building in The Hague. Layered green zinc roof fins fan across the top of a red brick facade with regular blue-glazed windows, against a pale overcast sky.

Deconstructivist Roofline, The Hague

30 May 2026 · The Hague

Zinc fins stack and overlap at the crown of this contemporary office building in The Hague, their standing seam edges fanning outward like a sculptural gesture above a red brick curtain wall. The low-angle upward shot compresses all three planes — brick, steel, sky — into a single graphic field. Structure as composition: the roofline carries more visual weight than the floors beneath it, and that inversion is precisely the point.
