Brick High-Rise Facade, The Hague — Converging Vertical Lines
30 May 2026 · The Hague
Shot from pavement level, the brick facade of this modernist office tower in The Hague compresses into a single vanishing point. The vertical piers repeat in tight rhythm up the full height of the building — relentless, mechanical, almost overwhelming. Golden-hour light catches the corner edge and splits the two faces cleanly: warm terracotta on one side, cooler shadow on the other. The structure does the work; the light only clarifies what was already there.
