Low-angle worm's-eye view looking up at a tall office tower in The Hague. Stone-clad lower floors transition to a red-brick upper facade. Converging vertical lines recede sharply skyward. A McDonald's sign is visible at the left edge.

The Hague Skyscraper — Worm's Eye View, Stone to Brick

30 May 2026 · The Hague

Shot from street level in The Hague, the camera pointed straight up at the corner of a high-rise where limestone cladding hands off to a red-brick tower. The facade transition is the subject: two materials, two registers, compressed into a single diagonal that runs the full height of the frame. At the left edge, a McDonald's golden-arch sign holds its corner without competing — urban geometry asserting itself on every plane at once. The converging lines do the vertical work; the palette, warm brick against pale stone under clear sky, does the rest.
