Light rail tracks lead toward a twin-canopy tram portal built into a tall brick facade in The Hague, photographed at golden hour. Steel-ribbed arches frame the tunnel entrance; overhead wires cross the foreground.

Tram Portal at Golden Hour, The Hague

30 May 2026 · The Hague

Two steel-ribbed canopies mark where The Hague's light rail disappears underground, the tracks converging into darkness beneath a nine-storey brick facade. Shot at golden hour, the warm light catches the arched steel ribs and overhead wire while the tunnel mouth swallows everything behind. The structure does two jobs at once — shelter and threshold — and the architecture makes no effort to hide either.
