Moxy Hotel Tower, The Hague — Worm's-Eye View

30 May 2026 · The Hague

The Moxy Hotel tower in The Hague rises from a stepped Art Deco base into a cylindrical crown, its dark brick facade punctuated by blue tile detail and ranked rows of windows. Shot from street level, the worm's-eye perspective compresses the tiered massing into a single upward thrust — the building does the dramatic work without any help. Overhead tram wires cut across the frame in clean diagonals, adding graphic tension that belongs to the street as much as to the architecture.
