Escalator Triptych, Public Interior — The Hague
30 May 2026 · The Hague
Three parallel routes to the upper floor: two escalators flanking a central staircase, all converging on the same vanishing point. The symmetry is almost too precise — the building made the composition, not the photographer. Shot in a Dutch public interior in The Hague, the frame rewards the architecture for doing exactly what it was designed to do: move people, and do it with graphic clarity. Structure as the subject; function visible in the geometry.
