Robeco Tower, Rotterdam — Low-Angle Upshot

Two towers split at the top, their vertical grid of concrete and glass pressed hard against a deep summer blue. The Robeco Tower on Weena reads differently from street level — the low angle flattens the facade into something closer to a diagram than a building, all rhythm and repetition. Sun catches the glass mid-tower, a single flare in an otherwise disciplined surface. The geometry does the work; the sky is just the contrast it needed.
