Shot from ground level looking straight up, the curved aluminium canopy of Rotterdam Centraal fills the lower left while De Rotterdam's glass-grid facade rises to the right. The framing compresses two fundamentally different architectural languages — formed metal and curtain-wall glass — into a single diagonal under a clear blue sky. Both structures belong to the same skyline; the gap between them is where the contrast lives.
