Worm's eye view of a Rotterdam skyscraper: a vast tinted glass curtain wall with a regular dot-stud grid pattern rises to a flat roofline against a clear blue sky. A white structural column cuts upward into the facade at centre. Tree foliage visible at lower right.

Rotterdam Skyscraper Glass Facade from Below

28 May 2026 · Rotterdam

Shot from street level looking straight up, the curtain wall fills the frame — a diagonal grid of tinted glass panels studded with a regular dot pattern that flattens into near-abstraction at this angle. The white structural column cutting into the facade mid-frame is the compositional pivot: it interrupts the grid's rhythm and gives the eye a reason to stop. Clear blue sky at the edges keeps the geometry clean. Rotterdam's contemporary architecture earns its reputation for exactly this kind of graphic force.
