Rotterdam Urban Canyon — Cruise Ship Between Modernist Towers

A Rotterdam alley frames the impossible: a cruise ship sits between two modernist towers, its hull reading as a third building in the canyon. The wide-angle compression collapses the distance between the glass facade on the right, the fire-escape staircase on the left, and the vessel filling the gap at the end. Monochrome strips the scene to its geometry — the leading lines of the walkway, the horizontal banding of the ship's decks, the hard grid of steel and glass all pulling toward the same vanishing point. Rotterdam builds at a scale where a cruise ship can disappear into the skyline.
