Industrial Facade with Green Folding Doors, Rotterdam

28 May 2026 · Rotterdam

A converted warehouse facade in Rotterdam, photographed straight on under a clear summer sky. The green steel folding doors — part industrial hardware, part architectural event — dominate the centre of the composition, rolled back to reveal the entrance and flanked by rows of multi-pane windows set into raw concrete planes. The ironwork palette holds the whole facade together: the same olive green runs from the door panels to the window frames to the hinges, turning a utilitarian surface into something close to a graphic poster. Planted forecourt shrubs in purple and green soften the base without competing with the geometry above.
