Shot from street level looking straight up, the curtain wall facade of this Amsterdam Zuidoost tower becomes a grid of teal glass and warm brick panels pushed flat against a deep blue summer sky. The cumulus cloud sitting above the roofline does what clouds rarely do in architecture photography — it earns its place, balancing the hard geometry below. Worm's-eye perspective compresses eighteen floors into something closer to a graphic than a building.
