Storm light settles over the Leiden Polderpark as a heavy cloud bank pushes in from the west, backlighting grazing cattle against a darkening treeline. A willow canopy frames the scene from above; a drainage ditch cuts through the foreground grass and pulls the eye toward the herd. The land holds its colour — deep, muted green — where the sky offers only diffuse silver. Atmosphere and landscape are the same subject here, each one measured against the weight of the other.
