A gravel path cuts through Leiden Polderpark at dusk, drawing the eye toward a treeline held against a sky caught between clearing and closing in. The surrounding vegetation drops into deep shadow while the clouds hold the last diffuse light of the evening — the ground dark, the sky still active. Dutch polder landscape at the edge of summer, just before the light decides.
