Roelofarendsveen Water Tower at Blue Hour

13 May 2025 · Roelofarendsveen

A converted water tower in Roelofarendsveen photographed from street level at blue hour, the camera tilted upward so the tapering facade fills the frame against a cooling dusk sky. A large tulip mural — green stem, red bloom — climbs the tower face, planting the structure firmly in Dutch identity. On the right flank, a spiral metal staircase traces its own geometric rhythm, industrial heritage repurposed into something that manages to be both functional and graphic at once.
