Tulip Mural Water Tower, Roelofarendsveen
13 May 2025 · Roelofarendsveen
A repurposed water tower in Roelofarendsveen carries large-scale tulip murals across two of its concrete faces — bold, flat graphic forms in red and green against warm golden-hour brick. The tower is utilitarian to its bones, bristling with telecom equipment and fire escapes; the murals make it a landmark anyway. Public art that doesn't ask the architecture to stop being itself, just asks you to look again.
