Stone meets sky in Katwijk aan Zee. Shot from directly below, the Reformed church tower narrows as it climbs — stepped buttresses converging, the clock face balanced against a flagpole cutting the cobalt blue at a diagonal. The geometry does the work: tapering verticals that pull the eye upward and hold it at the cornice line before the sky takes over. Ecclesiastical architecture reduced to its sharpest graphic argument.
