Amsterdam Centraal's curved glazed canopy, shot from directly below at a steep upward angle. Diagonal bands of amber and red glass cut across the steel grid, pulling the eye along the arc of the structure toward a clear blue sky. The canopy does two things at once — it is transparent enough to let the sky read as background, and opaque enough in its coloured panels to make the geometry feel solid and graphic.
