The curved glass canopy of Amsterdam Centraal's bus terminal frames the IJ waterfront in amber, red, and yellow panels — a structure that works as hard graphically as it does functionally. Steel ribs arc from the platform floor to the open sky, throwing striped shadows across the empty terminal deck. The A'DAM Tower and Amsterdam Noord skyline sit in the gap where canopy meets water, framed rather than competed with. Architecture as public infrastructure and poster image at once.
