Cable Tensile Canopy and Steel Lattice, Amsterdam Zuid

Two suspended panels rise through a cable-braced steel canopy in Amsterdam Zuid, their dark mass held against a grid of crossing diagonals and the overcast sky beyond. The tensile geometry does the compositional work — each cable node pulls the eye through the lattice and out toward the glass curtain wall behind. Graphic and decisive, the kind of structure that only reads this clearly when colour is stripped away and the tonal weight is allowed to speak.
