From street level in Amsterdam Zuid, the stacked brise soleil panels of a contemporary office tower read as a pure diagonal rhythm — each cantilevered fin stepping outward against a steel-braced glass curtain wall. The upward perspective compresses the structure into geometry, the blue sky doing nothing but separating the planes. Architecture as graphic system: the engineering logic and the visual logic arrive at the same answer.
