Shot from street level looking up, the curtain-wall grid of this Amsterdam Zuid office tower fills the frame in near-flat planes of grey glass. The overcast sky presses down from behind the glazed rooftop penthouse, flattening the tones into a tight tonal register. Graphic geometry, but with enough atmospheric weight in the clouds to keep the image from reading as pure abstraction — the grid holds its own against the sky above it.
