NautaDutilh Tower, Amsterdam Zuidas — Curtain Wall Facade

The curved curtain wall of the NautaDutilh tower at Amsterdam Zuidas fills the frame from below — a grid of deep blue glazing interrupted by row after row of projecting sun-shading fins that catch the light at every angle. Framed from street level looking up, the building presses against a deep summer sky with a single cloud breaking the corner. The geometry is relentless up close, the scale only apparent once you find the tree at the lower edge.
